Research involving human subjects
  • Authors must obtain prior institutional authorization when conducting research involving human subjects or materials of human origin.
  • The manuscript should include a statement confirming that all experiments were conducted in compliance with relevant laws and guidelines, following the ethical standards outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki.
Research using recombinant DNA

Authors conducting research involving recombinant DNA must ensure that physical and biological containment practices adhere to the guidelines specified by the corresponding agency in their country.

Animal experiments
  • Experiments involving animals must be performed with institutional authorization and in strict compliance with the applicable laws and guidelines in the authors’ country.
  • Authors are encouraged to follow animal research reporting standards, specifically mentioning the ARRIVE guidelines. These standards cover various aspects of research, including study design, statistical analysis, experimental procedures, and the housing and care of experimental animals.
