The Genesis Publishing Consortium Limited (GPCL) and the Journal of Bioscience and Environment Research are committed to providing open access to all published articles. To sustain this open access model, an article processing charge (APC) applies to manuscripts that complete the peer-review process and are accepted for publication. Below, you will find details regarding the APC rates, payment options, and other important considerations,

Article processing charge rates

GPCL does not impose charges for manuscript submission, editorial processing, page usage, color printing, or manuscript withdrawal.

Journal of Bioscience and Environment Research will impose an article processing charge after the manuscript is accepted by the editor after rigorous peer review.

Authors from Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, and Indonesia
Per accepted articles

Academicians (Prof./Assoc. Prof./Assis. Prof./Senior Lecturer/Lecturer): 30 USD (3600/- BDT; or 2500/- INR; or 160/- RM)

PhD candidates (passed the comprehensive exam): 20 USD (2400/- BDT; or 1700/- INR; or 100/- RM)

Students: 25 USD (3000/- BDT; or 2100/- INR; or 130/- RM)

Industry researchers: 35 USD (4200/- BDT; or 2900/- INR; or 180/- RM)

**Students are required to provide a copy of their university/college ID card. PhD candidates may be asked to furnish proof of their comprehensive exam.**

Authors from other countries

40-50 USD per accepted article (based on the financial situation of the author’s country, please see the table).

Payment options

Authors have the flexibility to choose from the following payment options,

Bank transfer: Make a direct payment to the provided bank account (refer to the invoice) and email the bank wire transfer receipt to GPCL.

  • APC waivers apply to authors from Bangladesh, India, and Malaysia, ensuring accessibility for researchers from these regions.
  • GPCL facilitates the publication of errata, corrigenda, addenda, corrections, and retractions at no cost to the authors.
  • The journal emphasizes transparency and does not levy any hidden charges.
